About Me.

I am Kemi Adisa, founder of Léwà Interior Design Studio, and based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born in the United Kingdom, shaped by a decade living in Nigeria, and now rooted in the United States for over ten years. My global journey has deeply influenced my design perspective, and through it all, one constant has remained, my passion for interior design.

I have always been drawn to the clean lines and simplicity of modern design, while also wanting my spaces to reflect the richness of my African heritage. Bringing these two influences together led me to embrace Modern African design, a cohesive approach that blends modern minimalism with the warmth, depth, and authenticity of African craftsmanship.

By layering natural materials, handcrafted art, and sculptural elements, modern African design adds depth and sophistication to interiors, creating spaces that feel beautiful, personal, and timeless.
