Meet the founder
I am Kemi Adisa, the principal designer and founder of Léwà Interior Design Studio, based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Born in the United Kingdom, shaped by a decade living in Nigeria, and now rooted in the United States for over ten years, my global journey has given me a design perspective that is as layered and deliberate as the spaces I create. Through every chapter and every culture, one constant has remained: a deep, enduring passion for interior design.
Léwà was born from that passion, a studio built to design spaces that are beautiful, intentional, and rooted in authenticity. The name, meaning "beautiful" in Yoruba, felt like the only fitting foundation for the vision I had carried for years.
I built a free tool — Léwà Home Décor — so that anyone can explore their cultural design heritage before committing to anything. Choose your country, your style, your room. See what your home could feel like.
Outside of creating beautiful spaces, my greatest joy is traveling alongside my husband and our two children.
